Lovely food, very clean, friendly staff, will definitely go again.
Stunning fish and chips, a true traditional chippy with great customer service. A reminder of the good old days adding to the experience. This is the first place In a long time that does proper mushy peas like they used to years ago. Temptation is the only downside and I'm ok with that.
Danilo the owner of Joe's Fish shop makes his own rissoles. I always heard people saying how tasty they were. Unfortunately due to my egg allergy I can't eat them, but Danilo offered to make me a good few egg free rissoles.. And I must say they were delicious. Nothing is too much trouble for him and the Staff are very courteous and friendly. The Premises is kept very clean with a great atmosphere, and the food is of good quality, with a large choice of menu. I highly recommend this Fish Bar .You will not be disappointed. 😁
This is our weekly stop in for food, it's always fresh hot and served with a smile, the girls who work here are very pleasant and down to earth, I would definitely recommend it to all.
Friendly fish and chip shop in the centre of Aberdare. All the customers in the queue in front of me were treated well by the staff, (as was I) and the sausage and chips that I had, tasted like they were homemade.
The chips are beautiful. You could get a cone of chips from joe's and that would be a meal unto itself. However, I bought a piece of cod to go with said chips. As well as being super fresh and cooked to perfection, I must add that the size of the cod fillet was absolutely incredible. It looked like the fish it from whence it came must have been a gym partner of the adonis of a gentleman who runs the place. This fillet was swole. Amazing food, brilliant service.
Always lovely food and good conversation.
